Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development tailored to infants and toddlers
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by maintaining proper classroom management and hygiene practices
• Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and individual needs to inform ongoing care strategies
• Communicate regularly with families about their child's milestones, daily experiences, and developmental goals
• Incorporate best practices in caregiving, including infant care techniques such as feeding routines, diapering, and soothing methods
• Collaborate with team members to create inclusive activities that support children with diverse abilities or special needs
• Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and health & safety protocols related to childcare and daycare operations

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying or babysitting roles
• Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
• Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to nurture positive behavior management strategies
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members effectively
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging activities that foster learning through play and exploration
• Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for young children
• Passion for caregiving, teaching, and supporting early childhood growth
