Job Description:

Our preschoolers are the best!  Their curiosity, questioning, and zest for life inspire our passionate educators every day.

As a preschool teacher at our Elgin Child & Family Resource Center you’ll be responsible for nurturing the hearts and minds of children during some of their most formative years, while instilling in them a dedication to life-long learning.

Our Elgin Center deeply values collaboration with the families we serve. The site has an open-door policy, which welcomes families to visit and interact with their child throughout the day. We also host parent meetings, conferences and parent-child events throughout the year. The center’s Preschool for All program is a collaboration with school district U-46. Our staff works with other professionals to help secure IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) for children needing a specialized program to help ensure school success.

Our legacy in Elgin runs deep – we’ve been serving the community since 1927.  Our dedicated team members have dedicated their careers to early childhood education and are committed to helping you to be the best teacher you can be.  We hope you’ll consider joining our team!
